General Carpenter

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and the ability to produce high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut wood and other materials to specified dimensions
• Assemble and install a variety of structures and fixtures using hand and power tools
• Install doors, windows, and other fixtures
• Finish surfaces using sanders, scrapers, and other tools
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures
• Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and meets building codes and regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finished products
• Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
• Valid state license (preferred)
