Drywall Hanger / Finisher

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced drywall hanger and finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drywall installation techniques and the ability to produce high-quality finished surfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut drywall sheets to fit in designated areas
• Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings using screws and adhesive
• Fill in gaps and imperfections in the drywall using joint compound
• Sand and smooth surfaces to create a seamless finish
• Install and finish corner beads, trim, and other details
• Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and meets building codes and regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a drywall hanger and finisher
• Knowledge of drywall installation techniques and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finished surfaces
• Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
• Valid state license (preferred)
